كانت هناك فتاه جميلة اسمها ليلى كانت تعيش مع زوجة ابيها الطيبة و الحنون كانت تعامل ليلى احسن معامله ولاكن ابيها كان يرغم ليلى الى الذهاب للمزرعة وكانت عندها بقرة صغيرة و جميله جلبتها امها المتوفية وجاء يوم من الايام وكان هذا اليوم هو يوم عيد ميلاد ليلى فلم تنسى زوجة ابى ليلى عيد ميلادها فاحضرت الزينه وزينت البيت وليلى فى المزرعة وذهبت الى السوق لاحضار هديةوفى المساء انتهت ثم جاءت ليلى الى البيت ورات الزينه ثم قالت زوجه ابيها مفاجاة يا عزيزتى الصغيره فبكت ليلى ثم قالت لزوجه ابيها شكرا لكى يا امى لم اكن اتوقع ان تتزكرى عيد ميلادى ثم احضرت خالتها الهديه ثم فتحتها ليلى فوجدت دميه صغيره ولطيفه فسمتها اميلى وفى اليوم التالى ذهبت ليلى الى المزرعه ثم ذهبت ليلى لتقطف الازهار واثمار لامها وفى هذه الاثنا كان ياختبىء الذئب وراء الشجره لياكل الخراف وفجاءه جاءت ليلى فرات الذئب ياكل الخراف فجاءت بغصن شجره لطدرب الذئب وفجاءه كان سياكل ليلى ولاكنها صرخت فجاء مزارع ليضرب الذئب وهاكذا نجت ليلى من الذئب
